My name is Lisa Devine and I am a practicum student completing my master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at UBC.

I am fortunate to have had a 20 year career working with children, youth, young adults, and families both in the community and the school system.  I have provided support to those with mental health, relationship, and parenting issues as well as substance use concerns.  I am available to work with individuals, couples, families, and groups.

I deeply value the therapeutic relationship with those I work with.  I honour the unique experiences each person has and firmly believe we are the experts of own own lives. I adapt my approach to support individual journeys and seek to create an environment of acceptance and understanding which will allow each person or couple to explore experiences and concerns and will contribute to positive change and enhanced well being.

As a Masters student, my fees are being offered at a reduced rate. Please reach out by phone, text or email and I would be happy to connect.

"The person in peak-experiences feels their self, more than other times, like a prime-mover, more self-determined. They feel their self to be their own boss, fully responsible, fully volitional, with more "free-will" than at other times, master of their fate, an agent."

~Abraham Maslow, Toward a Psychology of Being, 1968
