Counselling Masters Intern
Reduced Fee Sessions
Vancouver in person and online
Kaitlin is a practicum student currently finishing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has always had a passion for helping and supporting others through the challenges and emotional moments in life.
Kaitlin has experience working with children, youth, young adults, and families in a variety of capacities, and volunteering for a non-profit organization that supports individuals struggling with disordered eating.
Kaitlin believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe space and build a foundation of trust that will cultivate growth and foster positive change. She values the unique experiences of others and believes that we are the experts in our own lives. Her intention is to meet people where they are, honour their unique experiences, and walk alongside them in their experience with counselling.
Kaitlin will be available from May to the end of the year and would be happy to work with adults and youth. As a practicum student, Kaitlin's sessions are being offered at a reduced rate ($50+gst) and her counselling work will be supported by Julie Petrynko.
