Kaitlin is a practicum student currently finishing her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has always had a passion for helping and supporting others through the challenges and emotional moments that they encounter in life.

Kaitlin has experience working with children, youth, young adults, and families in a variety of capacities, and volunteering for a non-profit organization that supports individuals struggling with disordered eating.

Kaitlin believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a safe space and build a foundation of trust that will cultivate growth and foster positive change. She values the unique experiences of others and believes that we are the experts in our own lives. Her intention is to meet people where they are, honour their unique experiences, and walk alongside them in this chapter of their lives.

Kaitlin will be starting at Peak Experience in May and will be available to accept new clients until early fall 2021.

"The person in peak-experiences feels their self, more than other times, like a prime-mover, more self-determined. They feel their self to be their own boss, fully responsible, fully volitional, with more "free-will" than at other times, master of their fate, an agent."

~Abraham Maslow, Toward a Psychology of Being, 1968
