Low Cost Counselling Options at Peak Experience Counselling
As a requirement to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Masters level counselling students must complete a practical experience being supervised by an experienced registered counsellor. This practicum experience ranges from 8 to 16 months.

At Peak Experience Counselling we carefully select some truly skilled and compassionate Masters students to join our team for their practicum experience. The best of the very best in our humble opinion!
Having Masters level counselling interns working with us means we can offer a lower cost counselling option to Squamish. Sessions with Masters students are $50/hour long session. At times we may also offer a lower fee for pre-registered counsellors who are fully qualified and awaiting registration.
Kelly McLaren
Kelly has been working with Peak Experience Counselling at the beginning of September 2024. Kelly will be completing the practicum portion of her Masters program until April 2025 as she works her way towards meeting the requirements to become is Registered Counsellor.

Olessia Axenova
Olessia has been working with Peak Experience Counselling since January 2024 to complete her final requirements for becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor.
Olessia has graduated and is awaiting to become registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Until that time, Olessia's fees will be offered at $100 for individuals and $110 for couples sessions.

Jennifer Saunders
Jennifer has completed all requirements to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor and is awaiting registration.
Jen has a lot to offer her clients including an accepting and open space to connect and explore. Jen works with individuals ages 14 and older at this time.
Jen is able to offer her sessions at $100 as a pre registered counsellor.
